This was such a close game. I am glad Weber put up such a great fight. It was back and forth, but BYU finished off Weber 72-66.
I happened to sit right next to the BYU bench. It was fun to hear the BYU bench say things such as “come on” and “no way” when Weber did something fantastic. Here is a quote from BYU’s head coach Dave Rose: ”You can’t get mad at your guys when they’re doing everything as hard as they can the right way and we were fortunate enough to make enough baskets to win the game.(BYUCougars) ”
Weber should be proud that they made Nationally ranked BYU bite their fingernails. When I go to sleep tonight I will dream of what the game could have been if Weber’s Damion Lillard had not been injured. How well, there is alway next year Damion!
